RIVERSIDE – On July 15, 2020 the Colton Police Department was in a vehicle pursuit with a black Honda Civic driven by a male driver that started from the City of Colton. The pursuit went down the westbound 91 freeway into Riverside City when the suspect exited Adam Street going northbound and began driving at unsafe speeds near the California Baptist University. The suspect then began traveling eastbound on Magnolia ave near the Ramona High School at speeds of approximately 60 mph. The suspect then did a u-turn and started heading westbound on Magnolia Ave then turned right on Jefferson St. The suspect then entered a residential area of Lester St were at that point, the road dead ended, and the suspects vehicle stopped. The suspect was then taken into custody by the Colton Police Department with the assistance of the Riverside City Police Department without further incident. Its unclear at this time what initially what suspect was wanted for in the City of Colton.
