ARTESIA, CALIFORNIA – A man driving a high-end Mercedes Benz lost control of his sports car and slammed into the center divider totaling the car that’s worth upwards of $150k. The man was not injured and was able to get out of the vehicle on his own. A good Samaritan did stop to check to see if the man was OK and called 911 just to be sure. The vehicle had a heavy smell of marijuana and CHP officers are questioning the driver. No other vehicles were involved and no other injuries were reported. CHP had the HOV lane blocked for about 45 mins for clean-up.
