FONTANA – San Bernardino County Firefighters received reports of a residential structure fire. Units were able to see heavy black smoke from miles away due to the intensity of the fire. The fire quickly spread from the home to the vegetation in the back yard along with the neighboring house. Firefighters were forced to emergency evacuate the building due to the size of the fire. The fire caused an additional fire down the street causing a fence from a house to catch fire on the corner of the street but was quickly knocked down by firefighters.
