DIAMOND BAR, CALIFORNIA – At 3:36 am California Highway Patrol & Los Angeles County Fire responded to a traffic collision involving an SUV into the back end of a parked big rig. CHP officers were the first units at scene and immediately started working on getting two people out of the SUV. The driver appeared to have already gotten out of the SUV by the time the camera showed up. A total of three people were transported to local hospitals with non life threatening injures, two males and one female. A male and female in the back of the Chevy SUV were declared dead by paramedics.

The SUV was towing a black vehicle that had previously broken down a few miles up the freeway in Pomona.
