COMPTON CA – A victim was involved in a single vehicle crash disabling their vehicle. The victim got out of the car and was struck by a passing vehicle. The body was dragged under the car until the car stopped on the right shoulder. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. CHP has all lanes shut down. The driver of the car the hit the victim can be seen distraught and talking with CHP.
