BELLFLOWER – Shortly before 9:30 pm CHP received calls regarding an SUV that was on fire but still driving and occupied with two people inside. Callers reported the vehicle crashing into the center divider and then coming to a stop near the right shoulder. Two people inside suffered burns to the skin and were transported to local hospitals in unknown condition. LACo Fire managed to respond quickly and put out the flames within minutes and treated the victims on scene prior to being transported. The CHP is investigating.
