A vehicle pursuit terminated in a residential area of Apple Valley Friday afternoon. The suspect exited the vehicle and fled on foot. Unconfirmed reports indicated that at least one shot was fire at the end of the pursuit. The back window of the suspect’s car appeared to have been shot out. One individual was seen being treated in the back of a patrol car but did not appear to have received any gunshot wounds. The pursuit ended in the front yard of a home in the 13700 block of Seminole Road. The suspect was apprehended in a open field in the 20400 block of Yucca Loma Road. The reason for the pursuit is not known but undercover narcotics officers and parole officers we’re seeing in the area. In addition, multiple streets leading up to the termination location were shut down for the investigation.
