BAKERSFIELD – Officers were dispatched to shots fired in the city of Oildale. Officers found a suspect and tried to make a stop but the car led units in pursuit that ended at Mervyns Place and California Ave in Bakersfield. At the stop, officers fired at the suspect and he was pronounced dead at the the scene. More information to come Bakersfield PD still investigating.
