POMONA – At 4:32 pm Pomona Pd along with Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a car fire at East Holt Ave and North San Antonio Ave. Los Angeles County Fire was within seconds away from the car fire due to a fire station being around the corner. Firefighters arrived on scene and located a Honda Accord that was fully engulfed on fire. Firefighters had knocked down within a couple of minutes. Firefighters located a body inside the vehicle. Pomona Pd immediately closed E Holt Ave in both directions as they requested Pomona Pd detective units. Unknown at this time how the car caught fire.
