HANSEN DAM – One-quarter acre of medium-heavy brush burning in the flats of Hansen Dam area. Approx 10 mph winds. 35 firefighters chased down a quarter-to-half acre of medium-heavy brush on fire in the flats of the Hansen Dam area. 35 firefighters extinguished all of the active flames in 39 minutes. Crews will remain on scene to “mop up” the burn area. No reported injuries. Unknown cause.
