A man was shot and killed by the authorities late Saturday morning. The incident happened after a pursuit where the suspect vehicle crashed along the right side of the eastbound 101 Freeway just before Las Virgenes Rd. A short standoff took place followed by the shooting. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. It’s unclear what the man was wanted for.
