POMONA, CALIFORNIA – At 12:13 am California Highway Patrol along with Los Angeles County Fire Department and Chino Valley Fire Department responded to a car fire westbound 60 freeway just before S. Reservoir Street. Los Angeles County Fire Department Quint 185 was the first on scene and located a four-door Chevy vehicle with the front engine fully engulfed. Chino Valley Fire Department also arrived on scene due to the location being on the border between LA County and San Bernardino County. California Highway Patrol came in with a traffic break to shut down all lanes of the westbound 60 freeway so LACoFD had room to work with. No one was inside the car at the time of the fire.
