Cerritos: Haz-Mat Responds To Chemical Smell Inside Bank

At 5:30 pm a bank teller reported a chemical smell inside the bank that was making them feel dizzy. The Bank of America branch was evacuated and the Joint Hazardous Response Team notified. There were no injuries to personnel of the bank or the responding units. The Haz-mat team took measurements and concluded no chemical spills or smells inside the building and operations were resumed around 8:00 pm. The Los Angeles County Sheriff Cerritos station is investigating.
