ALLEN, TEXAS – An officer performing a routine traffic stop smells marijuana and searches the vehicle. After a search officers estimated an ounce of marijuana was recovered from the trunk area. Later officers decided to let the driver go with a warning, after having the man destroy the marijuana. The driver had an expired license and was told he had to find a ride or walk home.
