COSTA MESA CA – A group of salon/cosmetology professionals gathered in the streets of Costa Mesa, CA Monday evening in protest of the State of California’s mandate that beauty industry businesses to close again after reopening just weeks prior. The message was clear. These people just want to get back to work and support their families. In a show of solidarity of the protest, 2022 California Gubernatorial Candidate Major Williams came to speak with constituents and to show his support for the cause. Roughly 150 to 200 protesters were in attendance and remained peaceful.
