MEAD VALLEY, CALIFORNIA – On Friday afternoon January 22, 2021 at approximately 3:00 pm, CalFire Riverside, AMR, CHP, and Riverside County Deptment of Transportation responded to a fatal traffic collision involving a Riverside County Department of Transportation vehicle and two additional vehicles.
CHP were the first to arrive on scene, and three vehicles involved in a traffic collision with one individual killed in the accident. There were several other people injured in unknown condition and were transported to a local hospital via ground ambulance. The Riverside County Coroner was called to the location. The crash is currently under investigation, unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor.
