VENICE – A DUI driver was travelling eastbound on Abbot Kinney Blvd, when he swerved to avoid an LAFD ambulance, leading him to crash into a scooter, street sign, and a parked car, a witness stated off-camera. The suspect’s car, an Audi, lost a wheel during the crash. The suspect refused to take a field sobriety test and was taken into custody. Nobody was injured in the crash.
