WHITTIER – Whittier Pd attempted to pull over a vehicle that was driving recklessly in their city. The vehicle did not stop and a pursuit started. The vehicle went through multiple cities and ended up in the city of Hacienda Heights where the vehicle circled a neighborhood. Walnut Sheriff Department assisted Whittier PD with the pursuit trying to set up spike strips as the vehicle circled the area. The suspect eventually hit the spike strips and came to a stop at Barroso St and Cantaria Ave in Rowland Heights. The suspect got out of the car and was walking away from officers and that’s when officers tased the suspect and took the suspect into custody. Whittier PD requested LA County Fire Department to come out to check the suspect. The suspect was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries.
