YUCAIPA CA – September 5, 2020 Yucaipa FD received reports of a brush fire in the Oak Glen area. Units sent out a full brush and wildland response. While en route units reported a larger header from a distance. Once on the scene units quickly tried to extinguish the fire but were unable to due to the weather. The first arriving unit reported a moderate to a dangerous rate of spread with evacuations needed to be put into effect. Additional units were requested from neighboring agencies. Further information will be released at a later time.
