SAN BERNARDINO – Late in the evening several parents who have students attending Dominguez Elementary School received phone calls notifying them that a staff member at the school tested positive for Covid-19.
A statement posted on the school’s official webpage reads:
“This is San Bernardino City Unified. This evening, March 23, the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health notified us that one of our staff members at Dominguez Elementary has tested positive for COVID-19. We know this information is concerning to you. We reassure you that we are cooperating fully with the County Department of Public Health as they work diligently to notify those who may have come in contact with the staff member. Due to federal privacy laws, we are not able to provide additional information. All schools and administrative offices remain closed as we encourage everyone to heed Governor Newsom’s stay at home orders and practice good hygiene to help keep yourself and your loved ones healthy.”
