HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA – A man came up on a crash and heard a crying baby, reached in the mangled car and pulled the baby out. The bay was taken by ambulance to the hospital. The man that rescued the baby spoke to us briefly. There is at least one fatality involved in the crash. The vehicle flew off the Santa Monica off ramp and landed on the 101 below.
Per CHP, a 23 year old woman was trapped in the vehicle. LAFD extricated the female and pronounced her DOA. Family members of the victim arrived at the scene.
