HARBOR CITY – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a car. The car, which a witness said was speeding when the crash occurred, was heavily damaged. The reported female pedestrian was transported to Harbor UCLA hospital in grave condition, where she died. The driver stayed on-scene. It is not known if DUI is a factor.
