COLTON- Just before midnight on June 8th, 2020. CHP and Colton Fire were dispatched to reports of a vehicle versus a pedestrian. On arrival CHP and Colton Fire located one person that was hit by an SUV and was declared deceased at the scene. CHP is investigating the collision. The driver of the SUV appeared to have stayed on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. Details of the collision were not available.
