Fatal Vehicle Vs Pedestrian / Riverside 7.6.20

RIVERSIDE – On Monday night, July 06, 2020, the City of Riverside Fire Department along with AMR and the Riverside Police Department responded to reports of a vehicle vs pedestrian traffic accident near Park View Hospital. The fatal accident was reported around 10:26pm along westbound Magnolia Avenue east of Jackson Street. Details surrounding the fatal incident are limited however, three victims were transported to area hospitals in unknown conditions, and according to Officer Railsback, with the Riverside Police Department, a bicyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene. Both directions of Magnolia Avenue between Jackson Street and Overland were expected to remain closed for several hours while the Riverside Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team conducted their investigation.
