WEST ISLIP, LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK – A North Babylon Volunteer Fire Chief was driving westbound on the Sunrise Service Road when he witnessed a vehicle overturn several times in front of the McDonalds at 131 Sunrise Highway in West Islip. The West Islip Fire Department responded to the scene. A female was ejected from the car while it overturned; sources revealed the victim is a 27 year old, who was pronounced dead at Good Samaritan Hospital shortly after the crash. The roadway is closed for investigation.
