POMONA, CALIFORNIA – California Highway Patrol along with Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a brush fire on the right shoulder of the southbound 71 freeway just before Holt Avenue. CHP arrived on scene and closed down the number two lane. Fire department arrived on scene and had knock down within 25 to 35 minutes of the call coming out. Unknown at this time how the fire started.
