LAKE BALBOA – Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a car fire in Lake Balboa. When units arrived they found a fully engulfed RV in the middle of lanes on Victory Blvd. As firefighters were laying down hose lines a car drove over the empty line getting the hose stuck under his/her car causing it to get stretched and tripping a firefighter who was pulling out another hose. The car took off as the LAFD firefighter laid in the street. A fellow firefighter could be seen doing both his job then tending to his fellow firefighter. All flames were knocked down on the RV within 10 minutes. The firefighter was treated for minor injuries on the scene and was not transported.
