POMONA – At 5:14 pm Pomona Pd and Los Angeles County Fire Department received multiple calls of a gunshot victim at Las Vegas Ave and E La Verne Ave. Pomona Pd officers and Los Angeles County Fire responded to the scene and Pomona Pd received a call from Pomona Valley Hospital that a gun shop victim was transported by a private vehicle to the hospital. Pomona Pd responded to the hospital and other officers respond to the shooting scene. Officers located a gunshot victim at Pomona Valley Hospital, the victim is in critical condition. Officers arrived at the shooting location at Las Vegas Ave and La Verne Avenue and located shell casings near a vehicle where the shooting took place. Pomona PD has the area closed off as they investigate the shooting and what led up to the shooting.
