A traffic accident Sunday night in Hesperia injured at least five people, one critically. The accident occurred around 7:30 PM in the intersection of Main Street and Topaz Avenue. One of the involved vehicles careened off the road and into a palm tree. One passenger in the vehicle had to be extricated by SBCo Fire before being transported by air to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. The accident is under investigation by SBSO Hesperia.
