INGLEWOOD: Pursuit Ends in Deputy Involved Head-on Collision

Story Details: Time – 8:00am Location – 112th and Yukon, Inglewood Handling Agencies – LACOSD, LACOFD, Inglewood PD
A short pursuit between Inglewood PD and the driver of a small vehicle came to an abrupt end in a head-on collision. Inglewood PD was handling the pursuit, but the driver collided with a LACOSD vehicle. It is believed that the SD was helping with the situation and when the driver was heading east on 112th that’s when the two cars collided. It is not known what was the reason the police officers first initiated the stop or why the suspect fled. Two people were transported to an area hospital and the Deputy that was involved can be seen in the passenger seat of a Sheriff’s vehicle backing out of the area.
