OC / LA – A procession of the LAFD firefighter who lost his battle with Covid-19 made its way from La Palma to Rose Hills Memorial Park. Firefighters from multiple counties were strung along the 605 freeway to give a final salute to their fallen brother. Firefighter Paramedic Jose J. Perez was 44 years old and had been with the LAFD for over 16 years.
