At around 3:30 AM LAPD Foothill units received word of horses causing a traffic hazard on Foothill Blvd near Wheatland Ave. LAPD Units found the horses in the area just south of that intersection and corralled them north on Foothill. Just by chance, officers found an empty fenced in area not too far from where they found the horses. Officers used flashlights and their vehicles to direct the horses into the area. The horses inspected every corner of the area to find a way out but they appear to be stuck there for now. LAPD has alerted animal control and they are en route to take the horses into custody. No horses appear to have been harmed.
