A Pro-Immigrant Rally organized by the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles (CHIRLA) was held Thursday in Adelanto. The rally was held outside the GEO Adelanto ICE Processing Center. According to event organizers, about 200 people from all over Southern California traveled to the GEO detention/processing center for the protest. A group of counter protesters was also on hand expressing their support for more effective enforcement of existing boarder and immigration laws. While the dueling protests got loud, both sides remained peaceful in their protests. SBSO deputies were nearby in case of trouble
