LONG BEACH: 2-Alarm Injury Fire

(CNS) Firefighters in Long Beach Saturday put out a two-alarm blaze in a commercial building that turned out to have drug equipment and chemicals inside, authorities said.
The fire was reported at 1:45 p.m. in the 3300 block of East 59th Street, fire officials said.
When the blaze was out, firefighters discovered drug equipment and chemicals in the building and called for a hazardous materials response to mitigate hazards, officials said.
One man in his 30s was taken to a trauma center with burns to 40 percent of his body, they said.
