LOS ANGELES: Uhaul Pursuit Termination

Story Details: Time – 11:35pm Location – Pico and Albany Handling Agencies – LASD, LAPD, LAFD
Two suspects, in a small Uhaul pickup truck, led LASD officers on a pursuit northbound 110 freeway. The driver of the truck exited at Pico and turned left. After traveling just a block from there the suspects crashed into the sidewalk at the corner of Pico and Albany. LASD officers engaged in a short foot pursuit and caught the suspects in a nearby alley. One person, unknown if it was one of the suspects, was transported to an area hospital. The incident caused a major traffic jam.
