Man With Gun Sets Home On Fire, Caught & Arrested | SAN BERNARDINO, CA 11.17.20

SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA – Tuesday November 17, 2020 around 2:00am, San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to multiple reports of a house on fire in the 5990 block of Newcomb Street. After arriving on scene of a well involved house fire, the fire department dispatcher advised all fire units that a caller reported a man with a gun behind the house on fire. San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputies responded and located a male subject armed with a gun to the rear of a neighboring house. The man was taken into custody without incident. Captured on camera is the approach and arrest. A female deputy is seen handling the gun that was located on the suspect. Fire crews continued to extinguish the fire. Per fire dispatch, the suspect arrested with the gun was determined to have burns from the fire, and is believed to be responsible for setting the fire.
