HUNTERSVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA – A Huntersville, NC Police officer was involved in a crash while working a detail Monday afternoon for the Presidential motorcade. On Monday, November 2, 2020, the unthinkable happened as a motorcycle officer collided with another vehicle in Charlotte, North Carolina escorting the First Lady of the United States back to Charlotte-Douglas International Aiport.
Huntersville Police Department confirmed an officer with the department who was a part of the motorcade procession for the First Lady of the United States, collided with another vehicle on West Woodlawn Road near Interstate 77. Firefighters and Paramedics rendered quick aid to the police officer shortly after the crash.
