Early Friday morning, September 20, 2019, Cal Fire / Riverside County Fire responded to reports of a semi vs hydrant at a commercial business. The accident was reported around 1:13am at the Walmart Distribution Center in the 4200 block of Hamner Avenue. Firefighters arrived and located a sheared hydrant shooting water roughly 50 feet into the air. The semi driver remained at the scene and firefighters were able to get the hydrant shut down in under 45 minutes.
