MORENO VALLEY: Motorcyclist Shot In Possible Attempted Bike Jacking

On Tuesday night, April 23, 2019, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department along with Cal Fire / Riverside County Fire and AMR responded to reports of a motorcyclist shot. According to Deputy Vasquez with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, around 8:12pm Deputies responded to the area of Nason Street, south of the 60 Freeway for reports of a motorcyclist who had been shot in a possible attempted motorcycle jacking. As emergency crews were enroute, they were advised the victim had fled the area on his motorcycle and was waiting at Redlands Blvd. south of the 60 Freeway. When deputies arrived they located a motorcyclist who appeared to be suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital in unknown condition. No suspect information was immediately available.
