CLAREMONT – 911 calls came in of a vehicle that was speeding down Mount Baldy Road near Fergus Falls and lost control going over the cliff about 100 ft down trapping the driver. Firefighters located the vehicle that was on its roof with a driver still trapped inside. Firefighters and paramedics made access to the vehicle where the driver was trapped inside and firefighters and paramedics pronounced the driver dead on scene. Multiple witnesses at the location at Mount Baldy Road enjoying the view, witnessed the driver coming down Mount Baldy Road at high speeds and loosing control and going off the road. Claremont Pd will be handling the investigation into the fatal accident.
