NORTH HOLLYWOOD: Barricaded Armed Suspect

*Time* – Around 0210 *Location* – 10863 Kling Street, North Hollywood *Handling Agencies* – LAPD NoHo, LAPD Metro, LAFD
Around 0210, LAPD NoHo patrol units requested a backup at their location for shots fired near them. No shots were directed at the officers, nor were any officers hit. LAPD units setup a containment around the incident. LAPD Metro/K9 has been requested to the incident. Nearby Residents were evacuated from their homes. LAFD is on scene on standby. It is unknown if there are any victims from the shooting. Suspect information is not known at this time. Lankershim is shut down between Camarillo & Hortense.
UPDATE: SUSPECT IS BARRICADED INSIDE AFTER FIRING A SHOT INSIDE A RESIDENCE WHERE LAPD WAS RESPONDING TO A BATTERY CALL. LAPD SWAT (METRO/K9) IS ON SCENE.
