HAWTHORNE, CALIFORNIA – A pilot of a two-seater glider plane crashed into a flood channel between the Hawthorne Airport and the 105 freeway. The pilot was flying alone when the accident occurred. Unfortunately the pilot succumbed to his injuries. Hawthorne PD Forensics Unit is currently conducting an investigation.
