Porsche Driver Leads Police On Pursuit Across LA, OC and Burbank

BURBANK — A couple is in custody after leading police on a pursuit through L.A. and Orange County, before ending in Burbank. The driver of the Porsche is accused of reckless driving, according to police.

The nearly two hour pursuit began just before 8:00 PM Friday in Burbank. That is where police tried to pull over the couple in the Porsche 911 for not having plates, but the driver failed to yield and the pursuit began.

The elderly man drove along the 101 freeway before entering the interstate 5 where he drove to Orange County where he transitioned to the Eastbound 91 Freeway. The driver later hopped on the 57 Freeway before transitioning to the 60 freeway and onto the 101 north.

At times, the female passenger began reaching under her seat. Aerial footage shows the woman dancing too.
The pursuit came to a crashing end in Burbank when the driver and the passenger bailed while the car was still moving. The man went into what is believed to be their residence.

Video shows police later taking him into custody. The passenger was detained.
The suspect can be seen yelling to our cameras, “Jesus Christ is amazing, and he saved my life like he will right now.”

A neighbor of the driver says police has even been called to the man’s residence several times in the past, adding “he is mentally unstable.”
Burbank police took the couple into custody.
