SYLMAR – LA Sheriffs were in pursuit of an armed suspect that started in Palmdale and ended in Sylmar. The suspects shot at both the ground units and air unit during the chase. The chase came to an end when one of the suspects jumped out of the car and ran across freeway traffic lanes LIVE on TV and was struck by a moving vehicle. The suspect got up but was quickly taken by by pursuing Sheriffs & CHP. The second suspect was taken into custody and taken to jail.
