BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA – A suspect lead police on a pursuit through the city of Bakersfield before ditching his car near a bike path. The suspect fled on foot and starting walking on the path away from the car. A police helicopter was able to stay with the suspect and lead officer to the man. The suspect was taken into custody as police searched the area for a possible gun that was reportedly used by the suspect in a previous crime.
