JURUPA VALLEY, CA – January 12th at 1:57am CHP and Riverside CAL Fire received reports of a traffic collision on the East Bound 60, between Valley and Rubidoux. First responders arrived on the scene to located a semi-truck over the side, down an embankment. The driver of the semi-truck was alert but complained of back pain. He was transported by AMR to a local hospital in unknown condition. A silver Ford Mustang was located in the center divider about 40 yards east of the semi-truck. According to the semi truck driver, the Mustang was racing an unknown car when the Mustang crashed and forced the semi-truck off the freeway. No other information was available.
