RANCHO CUCAMONGA: Child Pepper Sprayed During Home Invasion

On Thursday night, October 03, 2019, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department responded to reports of a home invasion robbery in an upscale neighborhood. The home invasion was reported around 8:50pm in the 6700 block of Dicarlo Street. According to family, three suspects entered the home through an open garage where family was gathered. They say the men pistol whipped one of the men inside the home as they demanded access to a safe. During the robbery, the 10 year old nephew of one of the family members was pepper sprayed. As of 10:30pm, deputies were still at the scene collecting evidence and reviewing security camera footage. The home has several cameras that may have captured the violent robbery. Per family members all three suspects may have fled the area through a dirt field near the home. The condition of the resident who was pistol whipped and the 10 year old boy wasn’t immediately known. Unconfirmed reports the suspects may have gotten away with roughly 250,000.00. No further details were immediately available.
