Street Snake Goes Home with LAFD / South LA 7.11.20

SOUTH LA – A snake was found curled up on a South LA street. LAFD Fire Station 64 was called out to the scene to handle the snake. Animal Control is not available at these times. While LAFD was asking if anyone lost a snake, or if anyone wanted a snake, a neighbor brought out a bucket. The “rookie” had the honors of handling and securing the snake. After a few tries, it was put in a LAFD bucket (not the neighbors) and sealed and tied to the back of LAFD Fire Engine 64. Animal Control will be called in the morning.

The snake entertained the firefighters as the rookie was having a few problems at first.
