At approximately 0035 , LAFD responded to reports of a fire. Arriving units found a 2 acre brush fire in moderate fuels, with winds blowing at 30 miles per hour. The fire blew about 1/2 a mile away, starting an additional fire. With air support from LACoFD, and LAFD, Firefighters held the fire at about 5 acres. The cause is unknown. LAFD is handling the incident.
