*Time* – Around 2245 *Location* – Hubbard & Laurel Canyon, Sylmar *Handling Agencies* – LAPD Metropolitan Division, LAPD Valley Traffic, LAFD
Around 2245, LAPD Metropolitan units requested a backup near Laurel Canyon & Hubbard. About 1 minute later, metro units requested VTD units for a TC not involved. LAFD sent a physical rescue response. Arriving LAFD units found a white Chevy Camaro, up an embankment, with major damage. Both occupants of the vehicle were in LAPD custody. Both occupants were transported to a local hospital in stable condition. It is unknown if the suspects led officers on a brief pursuit before crashing. It is unknown what the suspects were wanted for prior to the crash. LAPD Metropolitan Division & LAPD VTD are handling the incident.
